Well…  Riley came back from the avionics shop.  Everything works again!!  Much less $$$ than I was expecting for being there for three weeks.  Still not as cool as your panel Chris, but at least I can shoot an ILS now!   :D

I can highly recommend Joliet Avionics at KARR!

Too funny! This picture was taken a few weeks after I got everything working in mine -- including the LORAN!

LOL! When I bought my plane in 1991, the LORAN was the first thing I fixed. Guys at my airport were flying around with Northstar M3s assuring me that LORAN was here to stay. I remember I paid $190 for a replacement antenna that had some sort of amp in the base. I flew for a year with it and bought my first portable GPS. The picture was taken in the late 90s when I had chased the final demon out of the panel with the MX-170B slide-in. The STS took up useful load until my panel upgrade. I do remember the first time I used the STS and found an airport. The little things in life.

I do miss those massive yokes when it is turbulent outside. :) it is amazing how much stuff can be packed into our panels.
