bhilgy Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Hello, everyone! I'm a newly minted member of the Mooney community. After much analysis and input from friends, fellow flyers, and (certainly not the least) this forum, I am now the proud owner of a 1992 M20J MSE. Brought her home from KFCM to KBTA on Wednesday. Profile pick is taken from one of my flying club's airplanes on the way home. I'm looking forward to being an active member of this community. Many thanks for all of the advice so far. Here's another shot of N44ZT after the flight home.

I will do my best to continue her impeccable care.
co2bruce Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Welcome to our community, take good care of her and most of all fly safe.
Hank Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Pretty plane! Welcome to the community. You certainly picked the right brand. My own, though, is burgundy and has a third "4" on the fuselage. Now that we have the required photos, you need to tell us about the flight home, and give a larger in-flight picture. I'm jealous, I still don't have any of those. Fly safe!
bhilgy Posted May 5, 2014 Author Report Posted May 5, 2014 Picked a pretty crappy day to fly home so the picture opps were pretty limited. This is the best one of the bunch, unfortunately. Ceilings were pretty low and the lead plane was a C182 that left 30 minutes ahead of us. Of course we caught her at the end of our 1:40 flight! Here's a few more pics.
Hank Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 You look like I feel every time I push the throttle to the stops! Even after 7 years of ownership . . . Why do we only read about "the RV grin" when there is certainly a Mooney grin, too?
Wakeup Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Wow!!! I love the paint scheme ... Fly safe and of course FAST!! Troy
bnicolette Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Looks like a beautiful airplane and definite pride of ownership with previous owners. Congratulations!!!
mooneygirl Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Welcome to our Mooney family. You should join MAPA and stay active on this board. We all have a lot of fun and love flying our airplanes. Congrats and welcome
PTK Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Welcome Bhilgy! Congratulations! Looks like a beautiful airplane! There's nothing better than the confidence in an airplane that has been meticulously taken care of. Enjoy!
scottfromiowa Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Welcome Bhilgy! Congratulations! Looks like a beautiful airplane! There's nothing better than the confidence in an airplane that has been meticulously taken care of. Enjoy! Except maybe flying it and seeing that it indeed has been.
Seth Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Congratulations!! Here's to many happy and safe flights. -Seth
kevinw Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Great looking plane! Makes me want to trade up. I'm over in Carroll, IA. About 70nm away. Nice to have another Mooney flying in our neck of the woods. Welcome.
