Has anyone taken the AOPA airplane quiz? This is supposed to tell you what aircraft fits you best. I'm curious to see how many of us matched to Mooney. Maybe someone can put up a poll?

I am approved for a 201. I wonder if there are any other Mooney models in the list.

It was posted yesterday here. "Destiny" was the header.

I can up with the 201 a few times, and a 206 once. What would be the true poll is asking how many times people took the silky quiz! Haha! I took it 4 times changing options only slightly.

Piper Meridian was my answer. Could have worked for me in the past, but ain't going to happen now! Not LSA qualified.

Mine said Mooney 201.  Close enough.  Wish I could justify moving up.  I am surprised they asked nothing about passenger or load or range requirements.  But, mission based choice is the key.

I was (blindly) expecting that most of the choices happened to be planes that were available to buy from their advertisers.

is the 201 the largest volume Mooney ever produced?

Wouldn't Mikes finer choice be a TBM 950 then? The 850 is so last year!

The AOPA quiz says I am a Globe Swift wannabe.

Then I ran thru it again and got PC-12.

You can't get by with just one airplane, eh?

I used to have a nice Globe Swift. It is the only aircraft I regret selling. Most Mooney pilots would appreciate and enjoy the flying qualities of a Swift, IMHO. Great aircraft!

At least WE got the right answer, didn't we? Although the quiz "upgraded" me to a J.

Upgraded me to a TBM850! But hey, still a Mooney?
