Yep, Neilpilot, I see you on flight aware.

Weather looks good between ATL and ECP.  We're planning on a noon (E) departure.

we are, too.  We ended up getting the same rate as you for a rental car, but we're staying at legacy which is .2 miles down the road from the main hotel.

Currently absolutely CAVU at KECP, with temps on the ground of 39 dF.  Supposed to warm and cloud up throughout the day, but no precip forcasted.

Jim

This is the view from where our reception will be tonight. Absolutely beautiful here right now. Already many have shown up. It will be a full house and a lot of fun! Yesterday's flight in the Bravo was imc to near minimums, but that's why we train! So far, everything is going great and temps are going up!

See you guys tonight!

The picture looks warming!

Jersey has gone above freezing today. I need some melting just to get the hangar door open...

Good luck guys,

I had that problem last week. Squirt windshield deicer fluid on the stuck parts. Mine was a steel shaft frozen into a hole in the concrete to keep the bottom of the door in place. After unfreezing the padlock . . .

Those who couldn't make the Mooney Summit need to stat lining up for next year! I've been to a fair number of Oshkosh, SNF, AOPA, PPP, MAPA and other aviation seminars and events over the last 20 years and this initial happening is as good or better than any of them.

I counted 24 Mooney's on the ramp, the briefings have been outstanding, everyone is friendly and helpful, the Mooney spirit is everywhere. Dr. Dubin + sponsors threw a heck of a reception; presentations have been top notch; pro bono BFR's and IPC's by cream of the crop instructors; a free dinner tonight sponsored by Continental Motors Group....and it continues tomorrow! Even the WX has been great.

IMO this is what Mooney fellowship is all about, or should be. Basically no charge for anything but fuel. I'm amazed. Mike Elliott has exceeded all expectations. Extremely well done, Mike.

it's been great.  the weather was nothing like the forecast earlier in the week.  I'll definitely be there next year, too.

Great time way to go guys! Made a lot of new friends and had a blast. I couldn't stay for today (Sunday) activities as there is some pretty significant headwind and enroute weather for the trip back to rochester, MN but I just wanted to say thank you to all. What a great event!

Sorry I didn't get to meet you, Rob, but I did admire your Mooney on the KECP flight line. Amazing transformation and a beautiful aircraft. Hope to meet you next year if not sooner.

Jim

I was looking out for you, too, but there were so many people to meet.  I wish the name tags had our screen names, but Mike said a lot of the people there were not active on this website.

+1. I've been lovin' on Mooneys for a long time, too, and this has been the real deal, folks. Already looking forward to next year!

Jim

Just got back in myself, and need to decompress a bit, but wanted to say THANK YOU to all that attended, It is you that made it great. THANK YOU to all that supported the event, it is you that made it possible. Jim, Im still pisturbed at your door prize selection :), but you know if I allowed myself to be in the raffle, I would have grabbed it also!

Every one of you made mine and Alice's life that much better this weekend. Each of you are outstanding people and why I love Mooney's and particular Mooney owners so much.

Thanks again to Rocketman and Mrs. Rocketman!

Already planning next years in my head. We are keeping the same mission statement and have some real exciting ideas to develop.
