I've flown many Mooney's in and out of there for delivery before or after annuals. Quote

I've been truing to find a good MSC to give it the proper TLC it needs and have reached out to AGL a few times with no luck getting a reply. I'd like to stay out of the SFRA for a shop. Any recommendations on a MSC or good Mooney shop? Expand Freeway Airport (W00) has a Mooney Service Center. Tom Williams runs the shop. I cannot say enough great things about him. He’s gone above and beyond for me and really set the bar for what I think a MSC is all about. I used to keep my ‘F at KHEF but moved it to the other side of the SFRA, closer to Freeway. You’ve also got a great new Mooney team in KGAI - also an amazing individual. Good options private message me and I’ll give you both their contact details. the SFRA is easy - esp from Warrenton to Freeway, it would be about a 15 minute Mooney flight and the controllers are very friendly. Not sure why you would avoid that and give up two fantastic Mooney mechanics including a MSC at W00 Quote
carusoam Posted May 20, 2021 Report Posted May 20, 2021 Let’s see where Byron is at lately... @jetdriven He has been so busy lately we haven’t seen much of him... Byron is a Mooney pilot, a B737 pilot, has excellent mechanical skills... and runs RPM Aviation at KGAI... @AGL Aviation is around here somewhere... Shouldn’t be too hard to call... Best regards, -a- KGAI might be a place you want to visit... https://www.aopa.org/destinations/business/36052 http://www.flyrpm.com 1 Quote
Sheriff23 Posted May 24, 2021 Report Posted May 24, 2021 Freeway Aviation - Highly recommend Tom at Freeway Aviation…..he completed the annual on my 67 M20F this year. Excellent service and excellent results! As a new owner, I appreciated that Tom spent an entire afternoon with me going through the aircraft and showing me everything RPM Aviation - I have heard great things and multiple recommendations for RPM aviation…..I don’t think you can go wrong with Byron either! Two good options in the area. 2 Quote
