jeff hodgson Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 I just picked up my 07, O3 as well. Love it. Some initial numbers, 8500 feet, full throttle 22"@2500 190-194 @ 16.3gph 50dROP 180-185 @ 13.3gph 50dLOP 175 @ 11.9 50dLOP @2300 Engine runs very smooth all the way to 100dLOP, is there any concerns in running that lean? Is there a minimum CHT I should be watching for? They are all well below 300. 260-280. Cheers Jgh Quote
carusoam Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 Welcome to the O club... Running lean isn't as much the question as %hp while running lean. Guidance here has been the red box as defined by APS at and above 65% BHP. Difficult to achieve without a TC above 8,000'. Leaner should be cooler as more air enters the mix without additional fuel to burn. To run 100 LOP can become challenging at higher alts. Check these details before using them. I am a private pilot, not an engine expert.... Best regards, -a- Quote
