MooneyMitch Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Hi Jmills. You can contact Lela Hughes [MAPA] at lela.hughes@sbcglobal.net or 210 525-8008. She is most helpful and will get you registered for the event. Let us all know what you learn about your magnificient Mooney! Quote
fantom Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 MAPA membership is required, and the book covering your plane is worth the price of admission by itself. Quote
mooneygirl Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 I just wanted to bump this message. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the pioneers with Mooney Airplanes. If you are considering the purchase of a Mooney, or looking at a pre-buy...why not go, get the great manual, and experience the seminar. Just my two cents.... Quote

Buster1 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 The MAPA webpage only lists the event as a Mooney M20B - M20J for both days. Can anyone confirm that? Quote

jmills Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 /bump for this coming weekend. I'll be there and most likely so will Jeev for the Saturday class (M20B-M20J models). Anyone else? Quote
MooneyMitch Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 We will be in Porterville [Eagle Mountain Airshow] this coming weekend doing a Mooney Ambassador thing, but I am looking forward to attending Jerry's class in the Livermore, CA area in Sept. Have a great time with him this w/e. Quote
Buster1 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I sooooo wanted to go, and was really planning on it! But our house buy was delayed somewhat and we are literally moving from Utah to LV tomorrow! I should be in the neighborhood this weekend, but I don't think I'll be in a position to get over there...just too much to do at the new place. Either way, I hope to see/meet you guys soon, and catch up with you for the next one. Quote
FlyDave Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 All, My previous plans for the weekend have been cancelled and I'l like to go to this seminar on Saturday. I called the MAPA office but they're closed on Friday. I also emailed Lela and am waiting on a response to see if I can still register/attend. Does anyone have any other numbers for someone at MAPA that I can contact about this at this late date? Thanks, Quote
MooneyMitch Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Hi Dave. You might give her email a try. Not for sure you will get in contact but it's worth a try. lela.hughes@sbcglobal.net Best to you. Quote

FlyDave Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Quote: jmills I've got Jerry Manthey's cell number. I'll PM it to you. The letter I received indicates to call him if you are going to have problems or are going to be late. I figure, you can probably call and ask if there is room in the class! (Which there most likely is). Quote
