So it's really a 2-person plane if you want to take off with full tanks. With 4 people, I take off with 50 gallons, which is ~3 hours plus reserves. Quote

If it's an especially long trip with favorable winds, I'll sometimes climb up to 15-16,000 on oxygen to get better fuel numbers. Cruised at 200 knots GS at 12.8 gph on my last trip back from Denver to Austin. Quote
