Would’ve been better if it was on the oil breather… CBs could then reuse the oil!

If you cut the back off it will make a ram air and add at least 10kts of TAS, this is the real trick.

But how much ground speed does it add?  ;)

I can see a Phillips vs Aeroshell debate coming.

I would feel better using CamGuard in this application.

I can tell you are not a pilot.  There are many fake speeds in flying which is why true airspeed is called true, not liar airspeed.  True is all that matters because the other speeds are fake.  If you increase your true airspeed then you go faster.

Look at my TAS indicator and you will know why I fly an executive.

I see a lot of numbers in your photo, none of which I can identify as any kind of airspeed--true, liar or indifferent.

Maybe your airspeed is covered up by that huge yellow circle around your RPM? Note that I generally cruise between 2300 -- 2509 in my C, while you're at 2600 here, and more RPM makes for more speed at any given throttle setting.

Did you take the train up to Silverton when visiting Durango? We did it last month. Was spectacular.

I’ve done that one before and it’s great. This time I took the Cumbres and Toltec.
