Oil filter nut

What size is the nut on a Tempest filter?  I can’t find the right impact socket for my air gun to tighten mine up.

My plane doesn’t have enough room to use an air driven impact so I use a 6 foot  breaker bar to make sure the engine filter can’t be removed by a normal mortal using normal tools.

I just tighten mine up till I see the filter housing start to deform. I've never had one come loose yet.

Make it tight enough and you don't need safety wire

Also two gaskets are better than one

Is that 'cause they don't vibrate as much as a plane?

Another tip: hand tight, then 3 or 4 spot welds and you don't even need a wrench
