Broken Door Pull - anyone have a source?

Yesterday the door pull on our M20J broke while closing the door.  The material failed at one of the fastening holes near the end.   Does anyone know of a source or have some of that material?

The best solution is to get a leather covered wooden drawer handle. They are soft metal inside covered with leather in different colors. They’re sold on Etsy.com. Very inexpensive and far better than only leather which will tear again. A pair will replace the door handle and the strap on the interior by top of cabin.

I just took an old leather belt and made one. Has worked well and stronger.

We did the same in our C too.  Worked well, but I like the look of the stock ones.

Thanks.   Our J has a "Spatial Interior" with no strap on the interior by the top of the door.   I miss that feature from our C.

I bought mine off of eBay or Etsy (can’t remember without looking it up) and had the tail number embossed.  It was cheap.  Looks good.  For years before that, I used a handle off of a laptop computer bag; worked great; strong; didn’t look so good.

My interior shop made one using a strip of ballistic nylon covered with leather, has worked great for the last 21 years.

I made one for my '78 J by cutting a piece from a 1" white leather belt.
