i downloaded the latest version of GTN 750, upon running the said file. There was a problem stating " There was a problem erasing the files on the destination drive. Ensure that the storage device is plugged in and that none of its files are being used by another application."

what will i do? thanks

If it's firmware you'll have a shop do it so you don't brick your GTN and end up with a $2000 flat fee service on it from Garmin.

If it's databases that you're having trouble loading you'll call the aviation support phone number listed at flygarmin.com

#1 rule of garmin avionics. Do NOT remove power during any database/software/anything update. Whatever you gotta do, but do NOT remove power or RIP unit.

 

However, your issue sounds like a windows issue and that your files are somehow open in another program. Download files locally, close anything that may be using them, copy them over, then try it.

 

If issue continues, let a shop handle it.
