I would like to say that the MooneyMax event in Longview TX for the past several days was an excellent event!  The Maxwell family put together one of the best event agendas of any event I’ve been to and  it was a pleasure to get to meet many other Mooniacs and to learn from some of the best!  My “hats off” to The Maxwell family and the guest speakers!  Great Job!

A few pictures would help me live this event vicariously through those lucky enough to be able to attend :)

Luckily sitting in the back no obstructed view

Also they had a large flight  simulator with movement, you could schedule a time for free ride

In the second slide are they saying not to be at idle over the numbers?

They were saying to be at idle, but that some Mooneys are not set up to idle at the proper RPM so people carry too much power and land long.

This happens.  When verifying your idle is correct, make sure the engine is warm

Use caution using slides without the presentation… or presentation notes…

The context can be completely missing.

Leading to a mixed message…

:)

Jocbay asked for a few pictures, which were provided, not tutorial but merely aiding in the request.

Oops… My bad, I can do better…

There was a brief discussion above asking for more detail…

As the brief slides could be interpreted in multiple ways…

Better to have the brief slides shared, than not…

Just a note for the MS audience… that the slides themselves are unable to cover the whole message…

A good reason to visit MooneyMax in person… :)

Best regards,
