Now the dilemma is dual GI275 for 2 AMU extra. Or see if I can flush mount the G5s. 

The GI-275 removes the need for a GAD 13 and GAD 29B which can simplify some of the install. I have dual G5s and dual GI-275s, one MFD and one EIS. If I could have times things differently, I would have gone all GI-275s.

Yes installer is pushing GI275. It's more capable, duals can replace all vac instruments, interface with VOR (kx155) display traffic map etc. and no GADs.

He was initially recommending the G5s but now is all GI275 after digging into the documentation.

Another update, the RC22 Allen vacuum units can only be adjusted up to 8°. The RC24 electric can be adjusted up to 16°.

My flat panel needs an adjustment of 15°, verified both on the ground and in flight. 

Now debating to do an overhaul on a RC24 unit, second GI275, or add tilt to the panel.
