Need a stock 2 1/4” electric turn and slip 12volt

I have a 1984 M20J and my stock electric 2 1/4” turn and slip died. Need a 12 volt replacement. Any one out there have one sitting on their hanger shelf? Or does any suggestions where I can buy one?

2-1/4" isn't stock. 3-1/8" is.

Either way…

TCs have out lived their usefulness…

Unless they are driving the AP…

Seriously consider another attitude indicator…

 

The challenge is… TCs wear… when they do they become pretty useless in rough air… they look great in smooth air.

So… if you are using the TC as a back up AI…

Get another AI….  Lots of choices available…

 

If you want another TC anyway… see what @Alan Fox has on the shelf…

Friends don’t let friends use a TC as a back up AI…   (Lost local pilot story to go with that….)

A lesson I learned training for the IR… with a post note over the only AI.

Nope, 2 1/4 was stock on this airplane. It even shows that in the POH.
