2011 Flight Hours

About 65 hours. I was injured in a non-aviation related accident and couldn't fly for almost four months and used that time to sell my Piper Warrior and find an M20K. It was down for another month getting a new interior and avionics upgrades.  I retired in late 2011 after 30 years as a dentist in the Air Force and in 2012 plan to finish my instrument rating and fly 110-150 hours. 120 Grumman Cheetah ( its a fast one, and for sale)

10 M20 F bought in Dec.

I fly a weekly 340 nm commute.  

50 hrs is a lot for a strictly recreational flyer

I finished the year with 270.  Went to the Bahamas over New Year's and that upped the number a little.
