Which TCAS?

I'm looking at investing in one of these portable type TCAS devices. I saw a few available at Spruce, but have now idea what to go for. The ZAON XRX, that has the ability to have traffic displayed on compatible GPS units seems nice and it kind of gives you the position of the threat, but at three times the price of the smaller ones.

Can anyone give me some advice here please? Our skies are getting more crowded all the time and a while back, a Citation almost hit me - way out in the countryside at a very small and quiet airfield.

I didn't think I needed TCAS, untill I flew with two friends, both of whom have the Zaon XRX. It works very well, and displays clearly on the Garmin 396/496. There is one in my near term future.

A friend of mine that has a Mooney M20E bought the Zaon XRX just to find out that it would not fit on top of the panel because the glareshield area is too small for the unit. He returned the unit and instead installed in the panel a Monroy ATD-300. He is very happy with it.
