Anybody have part number for manifold line from engine. It’s metal tube with little hole in it. What’s the best place to buy it. Thanks all.

New owner...

What are you the new owner of?

Each plane has different parts from one another...

And some have changed depending on the year they were born...

An older M20C uses about an 1/8” aluminum line... with a calibration hole near the instrument end...

Something your mechanic can make for you... drilling the hole, and flaring the end is all it takes...

Sometimes it helps to have a parts manual for your plane...  not just any plane...  :)

What happened to the MP line that you have..?

Got a pic?

Add that detail to your avatar data...  you may not see it if you are using a phone...  the rest of the world can see it if they want to...

The mid 60s Mooneys used a standard aluminum line, if you need to know what the dimensions of the calibrated hole are... that is a pain to look up...

The odd thing... the hole is a calibrated leak...  if your needle is bouncing, that probably isn’t because it is missing the leak hole...

Without the calibrated hole your MP will read incredibly low...

I have posted the dimensions of the calibrated hole before... the search should be able to find it...

It is also hidden in the parts manual under one of the airframes, probably the M20F... but not all of the airframes...

It helps to have known Bill Wheat for this level of trivia...   :)

Let us know if you do or don’t find the hole dimensions...

PP thoughts only, not a mechanic...
