Both can be downloaded for free if you look around a bit. They're pdf files, so you could take them to a printer if you didn't want to print them out yourself. 1 Quote
PT20J Posted December 11, 2020 Report Posted December 11, 2020 While you are at it, have them print full size schematics for your serial number. 2 Quote
larrynimmo Posted December 11, 2020 Report Posted December 11, 2020 And if you don’t own a double sided printer...bows a good time to buy one...they are not expensive Quote

Steve2 Posted December 12, 2020 Report Posted December 12, 2020 You can purchase them printed from Essco Aircraft. https://www.esscoaircraft.com/c-5202-mooney-maintenance-parts-manuals.aspx When I purchased my J manuals from Essco 20 years ago they also came with all the electrical schematics printed on E sized sheets. 1 Quote

I cant find downloadable schematics for J model serial number 24-3151. The packages that I can find have some that are perfect, my model year is a crappy scan and stuff is unreadable when printed, even trying to read online for parts of it. I’ve thought of buying Mooneys USB but thought I would end up with the same issue. Quote

Neither are great for that S/N. I'd get them printed full size and see if they are more legible. I think the originals were E size. If I have your serial number, I will gladly let you make a copy of it. I get to DVT fairly often. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted December 13, 2020 Report Posted December 13, 2020 Well, my copies are from Mooney, but they are not as pristine as I thought. They are copies of old drawings. I tried to take a picture of the whole thing, but it wasn’t sharp enough while zoomed in to be useful. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted December 13, 2020 Report Posted December 13, 2020 The phone with flash did a little better. I could take 12 closeups I suppose. Quote
gacoon Posted December 14, 2020 Report Posted December 14, 2020 Those drawings are the same resolution I have, pretty unusable. One saving grace wires are coded with a label, with enough time you can find both ends of the label. I have been trying to trace power system to find and clean all grounds. Quote
carusoam Posted December 14, 2020 Report Posted December 14, 2020 original drawings, drawn by hand... with free hand lettering.... Classic! Back when engineers were trained to have some penmanship talent... these were probably done by an actual draftsman! The real drawings still exist... if you want to go hunting. PP thoughts only, I tried to read some of the wire numbers to see how easy would be... Best regards, -a- Quote
