Jeff_S Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 By "Slocitation" does that mean you can get sloshed in the bar? ;-) Quote
scottfromiowa Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Nope. No discount there... Quote
jetdriven Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 That's it. We are going. Texas BBQ is something you can only get....in Texas. Quote
Hank Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Wait a minute--doesn't "BBQ" in Texas mean beef? Where I come from [further south than WV], "BBQ" by definition is "pork." Your stuff is called "BBQ beef," but it can be very tasty when properly done. But what part of "Cowboy Steak House" made you think "barbecue"???? Wish I was gonna be there . . . And yes, Scott, there's a good discount to get as "slocitated" as you want in the bar--it's half price if you buy a hundred bucks' worth of wine, which should be enough for some friends, too. I guess--European beer is about as fancy as I drink. Quote
fantom Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Quote: Mcstealth 50% off Wine over $100 Please guys, not on the day you're flying out David's Cowboy Steak House is first rate and easy to get to. Lots of folks will have cars. Enjoy the company, you lucky ba$tards Quote
Becca Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Its ok, I'm a yankee. Until I moved to Texas, I thought BBQ was another word for grilling outside. Byron and I will likely be going to David's Cowboy Steak House on Friday night, if anyone would like to join us, just email (or PM and I'll give you my mobile), we'll have a couple seats in our car. Also, would like to know if that discount is only on expensive bottles of wine or if we buy mulitple cheap bottles of wine totalling $100 can we still get the discount? Cause honestly, I am not that refined Quote
