Briefly met Don Jr and his spouse at the restaurant this past weekend. We were busy, and I was covering a shift on the floor so I didn't have a lot of free time. I caught sight of the Mooney emblem on a Polo shirt, said hello, and learned it Was Don Jr and spouse. And that was it. Not sure if I even got the name of the spouse. Please pass along a proper hello to them from me if someone would please.

@Pmaxwell was around here yesterday with some interesting news about a Mooney project he is working on...

Pmax essentially is Don jr.

If I got any of this correct, I’m going to go celebrate improvements in my memory!

I quit snooping into Mooney business after I received that C&D letter a few years back.  Maybe I should take up that hobby again now that all the old guard is gone?

have you seen any of the SpaceX videos coming out of Boca Chica?

There is a complete business of drone and ordinary video from just off the property...

Anything left outside gets details documented to the internet...

Throngs of interested people watching every detail...

 

Somebody spent too much time on the C & D letter... not enough time getting the most out of the publicity...

Several good live streams during test, Space-X does a feed as well. Boca Chica is a short flight from here even in a slow plane, Valley Approach is pretty good with working the sight flights in
