EGT probes and placement always gives interesting results....  Raw EGT data has some inherent challenges with it...

The important thing is the Gami spread... go to savvy if not familiar...

That other challenge.... if you spend money on a nice dinner... you have spent too much...   

Foot rubs, back rubs, dinner cooking, bathing children, bathing nieces and nephews if you don’t have your own....   

There are lots of shoe boxes around... don’t notice them... same for Amazon packages that keep showing up...  

 

My worst unexpected / uninsured aviation expense has been one cylinder replacement... similar to your experience...
