I’ll post to hopefully bring you back into a positive post count :)

I would think with all the people removing the electric pump in the back it would be really cheap to replace the other system.

I’ll have one for sale in the next month or so.

Probably the only thing running off the vac is the AI...

If looking for the usual back-up vac pump system... that was a device built by Precise Flight, and it is mounted in the tail...

If considering going digital AI... remember to take the AP into consideration...

The low cost digital AIs may not support signals required by the AP...

There are a few Long Body owners that are going all electric lately...

The vacuum pump is slowly leaving the Mooney world....   :)

Back-up alternators seem to be the way to go...

PP thoughts only, I still have a pair of vac pumps in place...

Best regards,

I removed the vacuum pump and clutch from my Bravo.  It was working when I removed it.  I replaced it with the the standby pump that resides in the tailcone.  I did this back when Parker was going nuts over a lawsuit it lost.  You can have the drive and vacuum pump.  I think I had about 600hrs total on the plane.  The system should go many years.

Ha! Adding to the thread of another standby and full vacuum system available.  I even replaced my standby vacuum pump about a year before I took it all out and went digital. You probably have already locked one up with the other offers, but ok to pm me if not no worries!
