What are your aviation goals for 2019?

What did you accomplish in 2018?

2018:

-Earned Commercial (finally!)

-Got hired by a local air charter firm and flew a Part 135 paying customer!!

2019:

-I plan to attain 1500 hours (closing in)

-I plan to earn a new rating, maybe two . . . multi rating (multi commercial at the same time if possible), tailwheel, maybe take CFI written

-Seth

And I did complete both my 2019 Aviation goals:

-I'm over 1500 (closing in on 1800 hours TT)

-I did earn my multi-commercial rating.

How did everyone else do on their 2019 goals?  I'll post the 2020 goals thread shortly.

2018 - Instrument rating completed.

2019 - Airframe maintenance certificate, if things go as planned.

2020 - Powerplant certificate, assuming same.

2021 - Wealth and splendor.

So far executing to plan.  ;)

My goals for 2020 will be very simple.   I can simply 'cut and paste' from 2019 because nothing was accomplished.

Between an extended annual and a delayed paint job, the plane has been unavailable for over 6 months of the year (but luckily not consecutive).   The water crossing was completed on the flight to Oshkosh, but in the right seat of a friend's M20J so even that doesn't count.    ...and 2020 isn't looking any better since my home drome is closing for two months in the spring to complete the runway extension.    Happy New Year!

2019:

  • Just fly.    (100 hour goal)
  • First weekend trip.
  • Over water XC (short hop, but long prep).
  • ...and paint the aircraft (might conflict with the 100 hr goal)

PS.   Add an avatar to MS.

....and the avatar is awaiting paint, too.

It's never too late ;-)

 - you still have 2 days left in our version of 2019 and flying towards California might give you an extra hour as a bonus

 - there are multiple calendars one can follow, pick one that works for your goals

 - you can always declare that it is 2019 all over again, being a mathematician and all ;-)

Does your accomplishment revert if you fly back in a supersonic flight :D

PS: I am not talking time travel at light speeds yet just traveling at sound speed vs earth rotation, there is a whole topic in how to log hours...
