Shunt location 1966 M20E

I am installing a EI engine monitor...   can someone point me to the area where the Factory Electrical Shunt is installed....      Thanks

This sends a message to that guy.

Expect to find it attached to the inside firewall... a pair of large diameter wires come and go to it...  and a small pair of wires go to the ship’s ammeter gauge...

When I did my MVP-50 I found the shunt on the firewall upper right (co-pilot) side. S/N 848.

Like HRM , upper right hand side, mounted on the aft side of the firewall

I'm here, I'm here!    But...I cannot offer any advice as to where the factory shunt is installed unfortunately.

Yep, they were 'line sisters'. I have the EI shunt sitting on a bookshelf in my study, noticed it yesterday. I just used the factory one.
