Help: Buying my first Mooney

I'm looking at buying my first Mooney (likely a J Model). I need an A&P who knows Mooneys to help me find a good bird, not get ripped off and do a pre-buy. Can you recommend anyone? I'm in SoCal, but the bird I'm looking at is in New Jersey. Help! and Thank you!

Weber aircraft out of Lancaster aircraft are also good people. For pre buy / advice, Dave is definitely a good choice

I'm just a curious, are you going to let the PPI make your decision or will you put eyes on the plane before you write the check? Who are you using for your escrow?

@mooneydoc has a great Prebuy list.  Search for it.   I think a copy is in documents.
