Ohio/midwest Mooney guru's

Just wondering if anyone was aware of any Ohio area based Mooney maintenance guru's.  I'm an A&P myself in the process of narrowing down the search for a Mooney C,E,or F model to purchase.  I've got some limited experience with M20J's many years ago but I know enough to admit when I don't know something and I'd like to defer to the knowledge of an expert when contemplating laying out my hard earned $.  Thanks for any input!

http://www.willmarairservice.com/ is in MN.  I've never used them but I hear good things

You might check to see if Clyde Wittenbrook is still the Mooney expert at Barnesville, Ohio. He was the go-to guy 20-some years ago when I bought my fourth of this Mooney, and my excellent partners thought well of him.

And about Willmar- they re-sealed my tanks, and made the procedure as painless and trouble-free as possible. Really nice folk to deal with. Just a very long way from Columbus is all.

I just bought my Mooney in February and had a prebuy annual with IFR certs done at G-Force Aviation.  They did a good job.

I use Shamrock Air Service (Shane Young) at KDLZ, Delaware Municipal Airport.  He found more things on my first Mooney than the Mooney Service Center did.  He always sounds disappointed if he finds a bigger ticket item needing attention and I appreciate that rather than sounding flippant about my cash.  He also stays up at night worrying about anything he might have missed.  I feel bad for him about that, but feel good that he takes it that seriously.  He's maintaining quite a few Mooneys these days including mine.  Not a service center, but I definitely recommend him for any GA aircraft maintenance.

In the other direction ... about 2 hours from Columbus, is Hagerstown Aircraft Service @ KHGR ... an MSC.

Anyone know of any Mooney guru's in Michigan's U.P. or Northern MI (Traverse City, etc.)?
