Landing gear down inspection plate on floor

There was an article about how to clean the plexiglass plate on the floor for gear down indicator. I cant find that. Any help. Please

Just screws and such.  The indicator rides on a bar that connects to the gear.  The indicator itself is plexiglass.  Some black paint and some vinyl will make you a new one.  The rivets are plastic and can be reused.

One of the best improvements you can do is get a brighter bulb.  Check that the bulb you have is the correct voltage and if you can find a bright LED replacement that would be even better.

11-09629 LED lamp from spruce... and make a new Lexan cover from the Home Depot aviation aisle.  Really bright.
