Is "Aircrafts" a thing now? I seem to hear more people saying it now. I just got a letter from my US senator (her cronies I'm sure) about ATC privatization. She says...

I am concerned that the proposal to privatize the FAA would destabilize a system that is responsible for overseeing the world’s largest airspace, millions of passengers, and thousands of aircrafts."

So she said it! She said "aircrafts". Seems like coming from a US Senator this must now be a real word.

Languages trend toward regularity. Still makes me cringe though. Keep using plural "aircraft" with pride!
