Garmin 430w configuration page???

I'm trying to get to my configuration page so I can see the 429 and 232 page setting. I use the manual instructions and it doesn't do anything. What am I missing? Or how do you get to the config page?

Are you holding the ENT key when you are powering it on and releasing it as soon as you see the display start coming on?

Does the GNS430 contain a lithium ion battery.

The main memory board has some sort of long life battery that has to be soldered

I just changed that battery in the GNS420 in my Cessna. What a PITA...
