Elclarko Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) WTB 1977 to 1982 ish J model. Longtime watcher, first time poster... I'm a pro pilot looking for a J that hasn't had structural damage (prop strike with subsequent overhaul ok) for a personal plane. Would prefer more than a wing leveler autopilot (nav/alt hold) with at least a Garmin 430 and decent engine times...max of $100k. It is a little before the Spring market, I know. Any help is greatly appreciated. Edited January 24, 2017 by Elclarko Quote
eman1200 Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 shouldn't be too hard to find, with that budget. Quote

nels Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 I saw that advertised and it looked like a nice plane at a nice price. Quote
jonhop Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Congrats.... J's are awesome machines. I have the same year airplane and your serial number is three air frames newer... I'm sure you will enjoy her, like I enjoy the heck out of mine. Quote

I know that the J's lost useful load as they got older. That, combined with the fact that I keep consuming useful load as I get older, gave me pause. Owners with realistically priced airplanes will be able to sell quickly. Enjoy it. Quote

highlowfastslow Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 I took a long look at this plane and talked to the owner, seemed like a good guy so it's great to see that this J found a new home! Looked very clean and well kept. Enjoy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
