Here is a video of the tug

I will check on the 25th to see if Santa got me one. I will leave extra cookies and tacos.

Happy Holidays

Ha!  My hangar neighbor just got one of those. He loves it- It's like his little robot buddy now.  It moves around his Cessna 310 like it's child's play.  It's really quick and aggressive  for its size when not loaded, like a Jack Russell Terrier.   Would be fun to chase people with, but I don't want to give him any ideas .

And the funny story.  Back when battle bots started the first time in say 2001.   Enron was collapsing.   A market for Evil Enron products sprung up on Ebay.   I could buy shirts and trinkets from the Company store for cheap and sell high on Ebay.   I paid for a really cool battle bot.  Never made it out to compete but it was fun to make.

I've been using this AC Technology tug for well over a year and love it!  It's very powerful and is great for inclines.  I use the slow mode for when the plane is being moved around, and fast mode for maneuvering the tug back into the hangar after being disconnected.  Mine has two VERY bright lights, which help at night.  I keep the tug battery plugged in 24 hours/day, which won't damage the rechargeable battery.  I charge the remote control unit when needed.  It connects to the nose wheel very easily and disconnects with the flip of the switch and forward motion.  My older designed rubber tracks are deteriorating fast, due to the rough asphalt, however the newer models have a much better designed rubber track, so you won't have my issue.  Also, the newer models moved the battery to a better spot instead of at the one end.

I love it, because I can maneuver the plane from the tail for tight spaces when moved straight back.  As I use the tug, I'm always making sure I don't exceed the turn limits on the nose wheel.  It's sturdy enough that you can even ride it back into the hangar, but probably not recommended.
