Currently in Kerrville, where my plane is undergoing a K model factory interior upgrade.

Looking very nice, but just got word that alot of the people that were getting laid off are now just getting furloughed.

They are being asked to return after the first of the year.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the update! Indeed, post pictures. This is good news about the furloughs, if it turns out to be true.

Bless the workers in Kerrville. Fewer than ten still holding on, and they still answer the phone and assist us. A BIG thanks to Stacey who I spoke to yesterday.

B, C and P drivers don't get that kind of support, I'm sure.

Hey wglover68, looks like you had quite a bit of work done.  If you don't mind sharing, did you get a price break on the interior or did you have to pay list?  Starting at ~$18,750 per website.

The cost was what was quote on the web site. I am very happy with it.  My interior was done in 2003 (before I got it) at a low cost and looked like crap 4 years later. Basically you get what you pay for. I wanted something that wil last, I feel like anyone that loves to fly and loves their bird would be stupid not to do it right. So if MAC open next year I would strongly suggest anyone that is not fly on a shoe string budget to fix up your bird the right way. Basically i now have a half million dollor plane's interior at a fraction of the cost.

My plane was the last one out of MAC, so i was worried about the job being done and done right, so I was down there a couple of time checking on it and I can tell you there was a lot of work put into it. I am actually surprise it did not cost more. Brain and the crew down there did a great job.

Hi Bill, the photos you downloaded look great!  I'm looking forward to checking out your new interior in person when you come back to Georgia.  You're right, Brian and the crew down there are great! I'll plan to use them next year for my annual.  They are nothing but top-notch and don't miss a thing.

Hey wglover68, when you were at the factory did you get some indication that they may have more interiors in inventory that they would sell? I'm currently in a rebuild on a J model and have not even touched my interior, even though I could get by on what I have, it would be nice to put the proper finishing touches with the new interior. Who would I contact at the factory.
