Anybody have experience with Bragg Avionics in Jacksonville Fl (CRG)?  I have an avionics shop I use on a regular basis, but I travel to CRG a lot and they would be convenient for a few minor radio issues.  Lee

CRG is my home field. I have only used them a couple times. Once for a transponder issue and again for a KI-209 that was misbehaving. The transponder issue was an emergency since I had to leave on a business trip. They quickly diagnosed the problem and had me fixed up in a couple of hours. The KI-209 was similar in that I was getting ready to go somewhere and the stupid thing decided to quit. They loaned me a KI-209 and sent me on my way while they worked on my unit. They had mine working by the time I came back a week later ( faulty connector). I though their pricing seemed fair but some in my field consider them to be on the high side. They did good by me and I didn't have to cancel both trips because they found a way to help me. That counts for something in my book. A buddy of mine with a 172 just went to see them for an ADS-B out installation. He said they were booked for more than 4 months out. I guess I need to go soon and put my name on the list. If you have something specific in mind that you want them to do give them a call and see if you can get a quote to compare.

Thanks Hector.  We have a condo at Atlantic Beach and fly to CRG frequently.  Bragg would be convenient for minor issues.  Lee

Do you park at Skyharbour by any chance? I see a transient Mooney there often. My hangar is next to them.

I've met the owner. Nice Guy. He did some Becker radio install/work on an Ex military airplane for me. Not his fault, but Beckers Suck!! I would have recommended another product, but space was limited. 

He was responsive to my emails and calls.

Lee, saw you departing. Was working on my plane in my hangar and saw you taxing out. Will have to meet some time. Im in Oshkosh now so let me know if you are here
