Good thing, they would have had to snap you as they were passing by.

Seriously though, your lakes are NOT frozen?  Where are you from in Canada?

Tom,

Just west of Toronto, CYKF Kitchener-Waterloo.  Most of the ice is gone.

I was in Kitchner in October.  It was beautiful!  Nice to know the ice is mostly gone.  I'm visiting YYZ next week.

It's only green for a month or so the rest of the time it is brown... or on fire

Well, it was purdy out here today. Heck, I'd even venture to say some California pilots might even be able to log a few minutes of actual.

Finally back in the sky today. It's been a month and a half since last we flew. Just another run to Walley World to stock up on needed supplies. My flying wasn't as rusty as expected and made 2 sweet landings. Nice to see the green hills and some water in the small lakes we flew over. Not happy about the oil temp reading on my just serviced gauges but other than that Snoopy performed well.

Got to take dad up for some boring holes in the sky.  Let him have the controls (he has a PPL from way back but has not flown since the 60s) interesting to see others with the plane.

You like burning extra money? Prius, mooney, all fuel efficient. Prius gen 2 was the most reliable car we have owned...

Hey..Hey....Be nice now.

If that had Michigan plates I would have thought it was mine.  That's how I can afford the fuel burn on the Rocket, from all the money I've saved driving my Prius.

Not a lover, but understand that others....are.  Different strokes....for different folks...and so on and so on and shoobey doobey doobey.  Individual choice is a beautiful thing.  THAT choice and lifestyle not for me.  I don't like stickers...

Never considered my Prius a lifestyle, just a smart choice. My other car is a pickup truck, should my American credentials be in doubt :-o

I and others have...Considered it.

Friend of mine drives a Nissan Leaf and flies a Baron 58. Gets teased a lot. Rumor has it his fuel burn on one takeoff roll exceeds his yearly energy consumption in the Leaf.

Same here.  Can't plow snow with a Prius.  We used the Prius for the 200+ mile a week trips for competitive soccer games when the kids were still home.

It ain't logical, but it's all about feeling green.

It is hilarious when we deplane a single passenger off of his bizjet after a transcon flight that burned tons of fuel and he gets into his Prius which the FBO has pulled up planeside.

I guess if you waste that kind of fuel, you have to make amends where you can!

Hittin' close to home......except I drive the Prius and my wife drives the Excursion. In-laws give me a hard time about the Prius. I just tell 'em I hug every tree between work and home. :)
