WTB: 68C Inspection Cover Plate

While conducting preflight today I noticed a missing inspection cover under my right wing (closest to wing root and rear). Does anyone have an extra one from an aircraft being parted out? Are all these plates the same size for different Mooneys? Call me 334-479-6220

Try calling Dan at Lake Aero Styling and Repair (LASAR) 707 263-0412.

Look inside the wing and make sure it is not in there. There are at least 2 styles. One fits on the outside and just has holes in it and the other has a lip rolled into it with nut plates mounted on it.

Mine is the one with the lip and mounted on the inside.

My guess is that it was never installed back after last annual but I could have sworn I checked every plate after it left the shop. I guess I just never noticed it.

Thank you so much for the offer but I found one on ebay and the seller is sending me two for a few bucks. They do say that it is for an E and F model but the size and shape looked exactly the same.

Received the cover plates I got from eBay but the size is twice of the one I am missing

If anyone is looking for an E/F model plate, I have two.

Guys you will not believe this. When I went to the hangar this morning to measure the hole, I stuck my hand in there like Mike suggested in the forum and the plate was there. I am surprised it never got sucked out in flight.
