Who are planning to join?

I plan on attending the social gathering and Mooney events. My schedule didn't allow me to make the Formation Clinic in Texas. I guess that excludes us from the Caravan BBQ?

I am arriving OSH Thursday morning. I will try to capture video of the Caravan arrival on Sunday.

Larry, do you have an answer for moodychief question?

MOONEY OSHKOSH EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL! EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

Attend all the week's events above. Only the mass arrival flight to Oshkosh is limited to Caravan Pilots, but you're welcome to fly with us next year.

Only pre-registration requirement is the Tuesday BBQ: tickets here

Does this include the pancake breakfast? On the agenda it said it's only for Mooney Caravan Registrants.

NOOO!!  You are NOT excluded from ANYTHING except the formation flight.  So come to any Mooney event.  Note that you may not be able to expect free food and drink that are INCLUDED with registration, like the pancake breakfast or BBQ.  But you can register for the BBQ separately.

And the Cherokees2Osh wine/cheese soiree is invitation for Caravaners only from the Ch2Osh guys, so it would be bad form for us to bring the entire Mooney community.

But the Mooney-sponsored North 40 HQ Tent is open to ALL Mooney pilots and will be a hub of all things Mooney during the week, not only a Mooneyspace social (some Caravaners are active here), but we also count VMG and Ambassador pilots among us.  We will have a Continental seminar and an "Ask the Experts" Q&A presentation with WINGS credit.

See you in Oshkosh!

Becca, what day are you coming to KOSH?

Yves

The current plan is to do the Airventure Cup from Mitchell (working on that elusive 201 mph air race speed here's to hoping a eastbound race tailwinds will help!) - which finishes at osh on Sunday.

We are planning on being there the better part of the week. The air racers get air show center parking (I know right!) but you can't camp there so they are still working out where we will park - likely we will be back to the N40, but there is actually a chance they will put us with the other race support folks in home built. With the way our plane looks right now with the changes we have made pre- paint shop, it almost qualifies :)

This is all pending weather of course...

I found the air race web site. It is not clear what time you will arrive in KOSH is you decide to keep going after Wausau. The Caravan scheduled arrival is 11:00 AM on Sunday. I guess the faster you arrive after your race, the closer you will be able to camp to the Caravan folks, since they keep filling the camping spots.

Yves

For those wondering where to find the Mooney Caravan tent: It will be somewhere within the red area. This is where it was last year actually. If you go there and cannot find it, find any Caravan: Beech, Cessna or Pipers and ask them... they will know where we are.

After expecting not to be able to go this year I think I may gotten business logistics worked out so I can sneak away for a week.. :)

Arriving Monday and leaving Friday..Some is better than none as they say. See you all there. :) This will be two years in a row for us!

So where's this mooney girls blog? So excited to read the thoughts of FOUR other female Mooney pilots at Osh! Will we see you all at WomenVenture? My google-fu isn't having any luck finding it.

Can't wait to meet everyone at BBQ tomorrow. We are parked with the other air racers in home built, the mooney is out of place but its close to the festivities so come visit.

My air race time was 197 mph.. Getting closer to the elusive 201 mph!
