Mcstealth Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 My Nexus7 keeps asking me if I want to Install Tapatalk. Do I need this app or no? How is it superior? David
Joe Zuffoletto Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 I've not used Tapatalk, but I know that it supposedly makes interacting with online forums easier for mobile devices, and I believe it even makes them all look and behave the same way on your device. I plan to try it out.
KSMooniac Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 It is a fantastic app for mobile forum browsing. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
larryb Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 I use and recommend it on my iPhone and iPad's. It remembers what you've read, so you only see a thread when there is a new post, and it does this across multiple devices. I wish all forums worked with it. Larry
Marauder Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 I use it. I can quickly get to the site and read anything new. Makes picture posting easier as well.
BigTex Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 It's my preferred way of using the site. Much faster. I also use it for the EAA and PoA forums.
Hank Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 This is how it looks on my Droid phone, droid tablet and iPad mini, without using Tapatalk. What benefits are there for using Tapatalk that I'm not experiencing without it? I use and recommend it on my iPhone and iPad's. It remembers what you've read, so you only see a thread when there is a new post, and it does this across multiple devices. I wish all forums worked with it. Larry
N601RX Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 When Tapatalk support was 1st added the big advantage was that it would allow you to post pictures from an Apple device. With the newer IOS versions Tapatalk isn't necessary to post pictures, you can do it directly from the web browser.
carusoam Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 The only way I know to load pictures... Best regards, -a-
