Hi dpsboss, and welcome to Mooneyspace!  As far as a pre-buy, have you considered doing an annual instead?  A pre-buy really does not tell you a whole lot, and can miss a great deal of very important (and serious) information.  I know that does not answer your question, but it might save you considerable headaches.

 

Good luck on your purchase, and am certain someone else on the board can recoomend a good Mooney mechanic in your area!  Oops, Joe beat me to it!
