I just finished reading the May Mooney Flyer. One suggestion I picked up was to have a copy of the maintenance manual on my phone. A quick internet search did not uncover a source. Does anyone know how to get the manual on one's phone?

Thanks,

There are a number of manuals online, depending on your model, that can be used as an educational reference. Most are in PDF format. You'll need Adobe Reader, or equivalent, to view on your phone. I downloaded the POH, MM and IPC last year but don't have the link. Great for quick look ups. Google mooney maintenance manual again. I just did and came up with numerous sites. Good luck!

When I bought my plane the previous owner had a thumb drive with a full set of PDF manuals (84 J.)  Now that I have the pdf's I keep them both in the cloud on dropbox.com and in iBooks on my ipad mini.  With dropbox you can see them from any computer. Dropbox also has an app so you can see them on your favorite portable device. Not only do I have the maintenance manuals, I have most of the operating and install manuals of my avionics and whatever else I can gather from the internet.

Of course the source for the official and current PDF versions of your maintenance manual, IPC and POH's is the Factory. Contact them or your favorite MSC for them. They'll come on a Mooney thumb drive .
