  1. You seem to be shopping for the last plane you heard about, but have you considered taking a step back, defining the most frequent mission your plane needs to handle, and then looking for airplanes that fit that particular mission?
  2. The ATC tape is disturbing and you may not want to seek it out.
  3. Just want to echo that calling @jgarrison might be very helpful. 830-261-4147
  4. Don’t forget the IO-390!
  5. If your eye is already wandering to other planes I would definitely not sink another $20,000 into your Cherokee. Sounds like a change is more of a question of when than if. Also wouldn’t hurt to call All-American Aircraft in Texas to learn more about the market and get on their vintage short-body mailing list... @jgarrison
  6. Would you buy the MT again or get something else?
  7. Anyone have the number for Gilbert Gottfried’s agent?
  8. We need some good Mooney templates...
  9. I'm sure it is, unless he has a Beechcraft-loving identical twin...
  10. There's a CGR-30P and -30C pair listed on BeechTalk right now. Seller offers to split reconfiguration cost. Saint Aviation, 352-427-0285

  12. Did you get that plane for the TKS?
  13. That would earn him his Lifetime CB Platinum Elite card.
  14. Assuming one already has an ADS-B transponder and a WAAS navigator, what else would they need for this to work?
  15. Lots of possibilities with these. My favorite idea is using one as a nice, always-on, dedicated traffic display in the panel without having to buy the whole GTN 650 / GNX 375 / GNC 355 / GPS 175.
  16. Not even Bob Hoover pulled aileron rolls like that!
  17. Thank you!! And thanks, Whelen.
  18. Well now that his sockpuppet has weighed in, I’m convinced! I’m kidding, but using your second ever post on a lecture to everyone else about “StreetCred” makes for quite an introduction. Just a thought!
  19. Pretty sure his photo is Don’s panel, pre-GFC 500.
  20. Option #1 seems a lot more comforting than only getting half the functionality out of your #2 NAV/COM. You can probably sell your KI-209 and get part of that KI-209A cost back. Or move the KI-209 to the co-pilot side and sell the KI-208 to keep your future options more open. Wish I could speak to the Brittain question. I don't see it listed on Garmin's list of interfaces for the GNX 375. But let's try @Baker Avionics for a professional opinion.
