  1. Hi Everyone. Hope you are having a nice start to your summer flying activities. I am happy to announce that the West Coast Mooney Group has been invited to participate in the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow this year at KCMA. We have an incredible per plane discount available to us and we will also have preferred parking as a group to display our planes for the public to enjoy. There will be static display of aircraft and vintage cars, Great food, music and some of the country's best airshow performers on hand for a great weekend of flying activities. Our participation as a group is limited to one day only on Saturday August 17th 2019. Airshow Information:. Location: KCMA Date: Saturday August 17, 2019 Arrival Time: 8:00 - 10:00 AM - (Runway will be shut down so please be on time) Preferred Parking On Ramp Together for the WCMG When you arrive, please tell ground control that you are with the Mooney Club Fly-in. They will coordinate with the airshow ground guys to park you. When you get to your parking area, please call this number (805-886-7639) and a representative will come to the planes, process your tickets and give you your wrist bands for the event. I have setup a special discount code for the West Coast Mooney Group for reducing the cost of a Adult General Admission ticket for Saturday ONLY to $20. You only need to purchase ONE Adult GA $20.00 ticket for each plane so in other words with four people on board you will save $80.00 admission per plane. Please make sure that you bring a printed copy of your one Adult GA ticket per plane. Tickets must be purchased by Friday August 16, at 4:30 PM so the airshow staff will know how many parking places to reserve for us and I know how many wrist bands I need to get. If you have any questions, please contact me. For Ticket Purchase Go To: www.wingsovercamarillo.com Click on the Tickets Icon Select ONE Saturday GA Admission Ticket Use Promo Code: MOONEY2019 (All Caps) for the plane discount I look forward to having as many of us there as possible to enjoy the day together and celebrate our beautiful Mooney Aircraft and general aviation. 5. 30 Moonies Already Signed Up! Spring Fly-In - KPRB Date: Saturday April 14, 2018 Time: 10:00 AM - ? Hi Everyone, Our Fly-In & BBQ next month is shaping up to be AMAZING! As of today we have 30 Moonies signed up to join us with over 60 total attendees. Due to the size of our event the airport ( KPRB) has generously allocated a large and private area on the ramp for our use for the day where we can park our planes and have our BBQ lunch and other fun activities without concern of other transient plane traffic coming through our area. I have been told that this is possibly going to be the largest gathering of Moonies on the West Coast in ten years. How cool is that? And we still have three more weeks to get the word out. Let's see if we can shoot for 50 Moonies all lined up side by side. Reach out to any Mooniacs or "Wanna Be Mooniacs" in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon & Washington or anywhere else for that matter and invite them to join the fun. AUCTION! During lunch we will be giving you the opportunity to auction off items from your hangars that might be taking up space. Whatever you have and don't want anymore bring with you and our host Phil Corman will take over as auctioneer to get those items off your hands. *Not Required - Any donation that you can provide to help support the event costs will be very much appreciated. Thanks again everyone for your interest in joining us for our First Annual West Coast Mooney Group Spring Fly-In. It is going to be a GREAT DAY! More updates to come! All the best, Michael Rodgers & Phil Corman
  6. Come out and enjoy a relaxing Saturday with the Wingnuts Crew and enjoy some great eats and awesome treats. Catch up with friends over a game of horseshoes and cornhole or sit and relax while enjoying some sunshine after a long dreary winter. We will have the grill smokin' away and the games all set up. You just bring the smiles... All food proceeds benefit the Dayspring Academy of Greenbrier. For questions or to RSVP contact: Wingnuts Aviation - 615.384.3200 Kristin@wingnutsaviation.net
  7. Only 9 days left until the Fly-in! Are you going to make it? We are offering a catered lunch, classes, and one lucky Mooniac will win a Free (no squawks) Annual ($3500 value). There are already 61 people signed up. To learn more, and sign up, visit https://lasar.com/fly-in/ P.S. We are also hosting a hangar sale with great deals on our salvaged parts and avionics. Feel free to bring any used (and working) parts you would like to sell.

We will start the day off at 8am, with coffee, doughnuts, and an FAA Wings seminar on Non-towered Operations, which the presenter assures us will be fun. Lively, even, he chuckles wickedly. Fly in and join the fun. Free parking, free admission, free camping on the field. Come for the day, stay for the weekend, in historic Edenton, The Prettiest Small Town in the South. KEDE! Northeastern Regional Airport, Edenton, NC It would do this Mooniac's heart good to have Mooneys outnumber everything else on the ramp!!!z

  12. Hey all, I live in Jupiter, FL, and I'm shopping for a Mooney that's fast, bells and whistles, turbocharged, etc. I'm just doing initial research, but I do need a few things in specific: Good A&P services for pre-buy inspection, as well as regular maintenance, and one that's familiar with the Mooney types. Other service providers like 02, avionics, etc, and tips on where you go would also be useful. I live near F45, or maybe SUA, but FPR or VRB might be my home field for a while if I buy soon. I'm also open to any tips or advice on things to look for with certain types during the pre-buy inspection and annuals. I'm a total newbie, so I'm tapping the knowledge base here. Oh- I'm an ATP with 6k+ hours, but I'm definitely looking for instruction to check me out in type and get me salty. Many thanks in advance. - Firebird
  13. Saturday, May 9, 2015. Annual Spring Fly-In - Come see the new full length taxiway and new parking areas. 14. You are invited to attend a Mooney Ambassador “get together” at the Rocky Mountain Airshow and Fly-in being held at Denver’s Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (KBJC) on August 16th, 17th and 18th. Here is a link to the Airshow’s Home Page. http://www.cosportaviation.org/home.html The Mooney Ambassador event will be extremely low key, but a great reason for flying your Mooney to the mile high city, hangar flying with other Mooney Pilots, watching the airshow from the ramp and explaining the benefits of General Aviation to the public and of course brag a little about our Mooney’s! You and your passengers’ admission to the airshow is free, if you bring your airplane with you. The details about the Fly-In and the NOTAM can be found here: http://www.cosportaviation.org/flyin.html The airport is providing a FREE breakfast to the first 100 pilots who preregister for the Fly-In. You can save time by preregistering online at: http://www.cosportaviation.org/forms/acregistration.html Hope to see your there!
