Dimensions of baggage door of a 20E

Does anyone have the dimensions of the baggage door of a 20E readily available and can share?

I was trying to help, but all I found is....

C, D, and E are shown to be the same in the parts catalog.  Catalog only gives part# not dimensions.  My M20C POH does not give dimensions (only weight restrictions).

M20R POH - Entry height 20.5", Entry width 17", Ground to bottom of sill 46".

Maybe someone with a C, D or E can help you with your E question.

Happy to help.  I'm headed to the airport this morning [the most fun place to go!] and I'll take some measurements for you on Jolie's E model.  Maybe by the time I get back home with all, someone might have helped you already.

Here are the exterior dimensions for the E model baggage door.  The door length [height] is actually tappered, forward to aft.  Forward/rear length measurements are taken just before the door edges curve.  I hope this helps you.

Width = 18.50

Forward Length = 28.50

Rear Length = 26.25

The double wide stroller is going to have to fold down significantly to fit back there.

Hey, I've put a seventy three key Fender Rhodes piano in the back of an E model, so you can fit in a stroller, can't you?  Babies are small aren't they?

Babies are small, but man everything else seems to be huge.

Great suggeston on the Baby Gear threat, much appreciated.

I was actually thinking about selling my Mooney as i thought i could not fit the Twins in there. Absolutely hate the thought especially as the previous owner spent almost $50k in upgrades on the plane.

I guess with smart fuel and baggage management we might be able to keep flying Mooney, yeah!

Baby seats fit just fine in the E (forward facing of course).

They will be about 10 years old before they figure out that they don't have the same leg room in the back of the E that you have in the front. 

Good luck keeping them from getting too close to anyone's long body (F,G,J,K,M,R etc..)
