I spoke to the owner of a Mooney for sale a few days ago and he told me the engine cracked some months ago. I have a call into the mechanic who fixed it but I wanted to see if anyone had this happen or thoughts about it. About the only detail I have is that it cracked near where the engine mount bolts on.  He said it was professionally repaired, in good shape, etc. I  would think this engine would be a problem engine after this repair???
