I would just get an electric second ADI with ball slip indicator. Much easier to fly off of an adi than a turn and bank indicator.

I Have one but I need a turn slip for IFR flight.

I don’t have a turn and bank and my aircraft is ifr certified. Look at the secondary adi with ball slip indicator they will have an stc that they satisfy ifr as replacement for the old bank and slip indicator.

Gabe,

Here is the parts catalog applicable page for your 84 231. Under the EFFEC. column the Roman Numeral II is for aircraft SN: 0447-0999. So, there are FIVE different turn coordinators appropriate, depending on the manufacturer.

It Looks like you will have to identify which manufacturer made yours.

Good luck,

Jeff

The Garmin 275s have a turn and slip indicator as well as being an Attitude Indicator. That's what I replaced my TC with. If you are looking for just a ball and turn you can go to pretty much any avionics shop and find one, or get ahold of one of the online suppliers like SEAerospace

If you need a 24V Turn coordinator I have one that was overhauled by Midcontinent.  When I got it back I decided to install GI 275s.  It is available if you have a 24V system.

thanks I read the ac91-75 and according to it I can actually just mark it inop. I have a secondary electric AI with the slip/skid right in the FOV. Please let me know if I am not interpreting the AC correctly

I also have a secondary electric vacuum pump.
