For those with dual GTNs, is there a setting to get your messages to sync?  i.e. I'll get a Message flashing in GTN750 and I can pull it up and says "airspace entry in 10 minutes" for example and then the GTN650 is still flashing message and doesn't extinguish until I open that one too.

For some reason I thought there was a setting to sync or crossfill or something so that I open the message in on unit and it extinguishes in both units?

Sync has to do with the Database.   You can put an SD card in one of your GTNs and if the DB Update was created as a Sync Update (includes all the System IDs), your other Garmin devices will pull the new DBs from the one unit you installed the update in.

Crossfill is where if you make a change to your Route, load an Approach, etc., that change will Crossfill over to the other device.  Same if you send a Route from ForeFlight or G Pilot to one of the GTNs, it will appear on both of them.

Now on you Message Alert...  I'm not sure if I'm just in a habit of tapping the button on both or if I'm just tapping on one.  I do remember software changes a while ago, but now I don't remember the specifics.  Next time I go flying I'll have to pay closer attention, but I think I'm still acknowledging both my GTN and GNC.

AFAIK, there is no setting for this.  I asked Garmin (Trek) awhile ago for this and was told that some messages are unit specific, like loss of position for instance, so they don't want those to go away when you look at a message on the other unit however they would just need to decide which are device specific and which aren't and allow the omes common across devices to be acknowledged once.  I haven't found Garmin to be too receptive to customer feature requests in the past.
