Good reasonable mobile Mooney mechanic... So Cal ?

Anyone know of a good, reasonable A/P with Mooney experience in the Ventura, Camarillo area?

I am in talks with a seller and would need a pre buy from someone with Mooney knowledge if we come to an agreement..

I had Lake Areo do my pre-buy, they work on mainly mooneys, and very resonable on price.

I'm reviving this thread because I need a mobile Mooney mechanic to come to KBUR.  Any thoughts?  I'm thinking of trying Kevin Schiff at KWHP and Mike Passwater at KEMT, but I'm not sure if they travel.

Ray in Santa Paula will travel.  I believe he did Dave's pre-buy so you could ask him what he thought of him.

Mike Passwater is a really decent guy. I don't know if he will travel but he is easy to deal with from his rep around POC & what little time I have in watching him work on my neighbors aircraft.

It may be simpler to get the seller to fly the plane somewhere to get the prebuy.  Even if you have to buy the gas it is still probably cheaper than paying a mechanic to load up his tools and travel.  Also it may take more than one day.
