well as far as I know both are free if you find the right link  I will try to upload the links to each ....certainly the first tries to get money but had not known about problems as HBA I certainly can up load to another site post the links....I also will try what you said and if successful will post

let me know how it turns out and what you think is the best material....I did ABS and seems could be more stiff but works I might ask for one better....

Appreciate it!! Will print in PETG tomorrow morning and take a picture.

Printed two. The one with the latch 'grip' facing upward looks cleanest except the bottom (supports can be a nasty business). The other one on its side turned out not as clean, even with 0.2mm layer, but very clean on the back.

 

PETG, 20% infill, organic supports, Prusa Mk3

back is most important as that is against the window and vent...somewhat difficult to hold while drilling to get a square hole

I like the white better than my black 

Mine seems to be holding up in the heat my bird lives outside but there is a cover......and only the 90's

I had ordered a part from someone in State College because I did not know if my friend would be able to print my model.  I got it and it is by far the best I have seen ....except for the hole closing in it is close to perfect...  It was printed with  carbon fiber laced abs that bambu labs offers......

May be a stupid comment but what about the folks who make replacement windows. When we replaced our windows years ago the vent, hinges, and latch was included.

Which one? Been trying to get a good free one. Fusion360 CE seems to be the choice.

Here is a good example of Creep in a plastic part with my first print of ABS ....I have swapped out to the fiber reinforced one ....maybe it will do better....however this one was still working and probably would have been fine ...

The printed latch creeped  so I added an aluminum stiffener.....Works well

I just added .stl and .zip as accepted file types.  Hope that helps!

@meddesign@natdm Could either of you upload the files now that the file formats have been added? I had my neighbor print the one meant for the pipers and it's not quite the right fit. I'll have to go back with some washers to see if I can make it work but the correct file would be better.

For what it's worth, I made one 6 years ago using ABS.  Smooth it out using acetone.  It doesn't even look like 3D printed.  It's still working fine today.
