Inside an inspection panel under the right wing, about 2 feet aft of leading edge and about 5 feet inboard from the wingtip.  The inspection panel is not held in by screws like the majority of the others.  You need to drill out the Avex non-structural pop rivets to get to the servo.

Thanks!  Seems like a weird location.  This servo controls both ailerons, correct?

I had my roll servo changed in my 2004 Ovation

Why?  As in "changed physical location", or "changed out" (as in, you removed one brand of servo and installed another brand)?

Where was the servo located?

My servo was just replaced with an overhauled unit. It was located in the right wing very outboard. There was an inspection plate there and avionics guy was able to fit his hand in and make the necessary connections and bolt it in.

Depends on the autopilot I would think. They used King KAP150s and KFC150s from 1994 til around 1999ish. Then in 2000 for sure used the King KFC225. Then somewhere in there offered the STEC-55x as an option and then standard on the early G1000, then finally the GFC700 starting around later 2007ish

Mine is the KFC-150.  I haven't been out to the airport to check yet, but I will report back once I do.

One servo only has the one choice to control both ailerons…. :)

Unless something becomes disconnected…

I finally found mine in the outboard section of the right wing near an inspection panel that was screwed in.  Since your avionics guy was able to replace the servo in 15 minutes, I'm guessing that he was able to replace just the motor and didn't have to disconnect the capstan and rigging.  Can you please confirm?  Either way, 15 minutes seems amazing given how tightly fit everything is in there!
