Sandail 3308 HSI Value

We replaced a Sandail SN3308 with an Aspen unit.  Is there value $ left to rebuilt the unit for resellers? Would it be worth $1,000 bucks?

No one is going to do a new install on one of these. Someone who has one installed and needs to replace the head unit or remote compass would be your market. You'll get more for the pieces separately, such as on Ebay.

i have had an SN3308 for sale for the last 3 months with zero bites. Even though the price might be high, i usually will get inquiries "how much" or "will you take $X," but this item has had zero nibbles

Long term use probably includes changing out an expensive light bulb…

Otherwise they were nice for what they did…

Color projectors got replaced by newer screen technologies…

HSIs are all going to some form of glass device from G5 on up….

As I understand it: $200ish for certified (legal) bulb. $45 for eBay mystery bulb.
